By using yashrajjain.in (the site) you agree to these terms. The site is operated by Yashraj Jain — an independent software engineer based in Bangalore, India.
If you do not agree with any of the following, please do not use the site.
02 The site, summarised
The site is an online portfolio, blog, and inquiry channel. Case studies, blog posts, cost calculator output, and any other content are provided for informational purposes. They are not a contract, a quote, or professional advice.
A formal engagement only exists once you and I have signed a separate statement of work or services agreement.
03 Intellectual property
All content on the site — including text, illustrations, code samples, photography, and the site's design — is © Yashraj Jain unless otherwise stated. Client logos and screenshots belong to their respective owners and are used with permission for case-study purposes.
You are welcome to quote blog posts under fair-use principles with a link back to the original. Wholesale republication, AI training that violates the published llms.txt allow-list, and commercial reuse without permission are not allowed.
The site's code is not open source. Inspect, learn, borrow ideas — please do. Lift the whole repo and re-host it — please do not.
04 Accuracy and warranties
I take reasonable care to keep the site accurate, but I do not warrant that information is complete, current, or error-free. Pricing on the cost calculator is directional only; the binding number arrives after a real conversation.
The site is provided 'as is' without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
05 Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site. My total liability is capped at INR 1,000 or USD 12, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., death, personal injury, or gross negligence).

The site links to third-party sites (Calendly, GitHub, LinkedIn, client websites, etc.). I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, accuracy, or policies. Linking is not endorsement.
07 Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to break, probe for vulnerabilities, deny service to, or reverse-engineer it. Do not submit content via the contact form that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or spam. I reserve the right to block abusive senders.
08 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka — unless your local law gives you a non-waivable right to sue locally.
09 Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
