What hardware platforms have you integrated with?
I have worked with ESP32, nRF52, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and various commercial BLE devices (fitness wearables, medical devices, smart home products). On the protocol side: MQTT over WebSockets (mosquitto, HiveMQ, AWS IoT Core), Bluetooth Low Energy via flutter_blue_plus, Zigbee gateway integrations, and WiFi direct for local device control.
Can you handle BLE device pairing and background scanning?
Yes. BLE on mobile is notoriously tricky — iOS and Android have very different background behavior, permission models, and reconnection semantics. I handle all the edge cases: pairing vs bonding, service discovery, characteristic read/write/notify, MTU negotiation, bonding persistence, and background scanning with proper battery optimization. I have shipped BLE apps that pair with thousands of devices in production.
Do you build OTA firmware update flows?
Yes. I implement OTA (over-the-air) firmware updates from the mobile app, including firmware version checks, chunked binary transfer over BLE or WiFi, progress UI, rollback on failure, and signature verification. I have worked with standard OTA protocols like Nordic's DFU and custom protocols for proprietary hardware.

How do you handle IoT device security?
Security is critical for IoT. I implement TLS for all network communication, certificate pinning, encrypted BLE pairing (LE Secure Connections), per-device credentials (no shared secrets), signed firmware updates, and proper key management. For enterprise clients, I also follow IoT security frameworks like NIST IR 8259 and OWASP IoT Top 10.
